Skaklya waterfall

The highest non-stop flowing waterfall in Bulgaria - 141 m. It is 1.5 km away. south of Vratsa, behind the hill Kaleto. There were found remains of the medieval Bulgarian village of Patleina. Beautiful in all seasons, from its top there are wonderful views of the town of Vratsa and the Vratsa pole. Crossing point of several tourist routes. The Skaklya waterfall is part of the Vrachanski Karst Reserve with an area of 1467ha. The reserve is managed by RIEW-Vratsa.
