The Central Mineral Bath is an emblematic building in the center of Sofia, Oborishte district. It is a monument of culture of national importance.
It was built by architects Petko Momchilov and Yordan Milanov in 1913 on the site of the previously existing Turkish bath, which was destroyed. It was built in the style of a secession, but also with typical Bulgarian, Byzantine and east Orthodox elements, made by the artist Haralampi Tachev.
It operated until 1986 when it was closed due to its poor condition. For a long time the bathroom is in active reconstruction for the needs of the Sofia Museum of History and Spa.
