Lakatnishki rocks are located on the left slope of the Iskar Ravine in the Balkan Mountains. They are located over Lakatnik Station. The whole area is so named because of the river bend, which looks like a folded human elbow. The rocks are a rock wreath up to 250 m high. They are composed of sandstones and chalks, which over the years and the weather have acquired a variety of peculiar shapes. Here you can see towers, rock pins, pyramids and more.
