The archaeological museum of Sozopol is located in the old part of town. The museum is situated in the building of the St. Cyril and St. Methodius Church, as well as in several halls provided by the cultural center of Sozopol.
The archaeological museum presents the history and millennial cultural tradition of the town of Sozopol from the end of the 6th millennium BC. to XVIII century AD. The most remarkable are the collections of stone and lead anchors and bayonets - II-I millennium BC, ancient Greek painted vases - VI-Vv BC. and antique and medieval amphorae - VII BC. - ХІVв Ср.
The museum is structured in two directions: archeology (V millennium BC - XVII th century) and Christian art (XVII-XIXth century).
