Begliktash or Beglik Tash is situated on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast five kilometers away from the town of Primorsko and forty kilometers from the town of Bourgas at the foot of Strandzha mountain.
The site is located near the Zigra River valley and is a natural rock ensemble of syenite blocks of various sizes and shapes formed in situ as a result of the spherical weathering of the rocks of Rosen Pluton and at the same time one of the largest prehistoric megalithic sanctuaries on the territory To Bulgaria.
The total area - the central part of the place occupies an area of about eight acres.
